Campaign final reflection

Dear bees,

The end of this really amazing GNML journey came too soon. I really liked doing all the assignment and I indeed learned a lot. I am very thankful for being given this opportunity and I will not stop here. This is just a beginning. In the future, dear bees, expect more posts on this blog and hopefully looking through this blog you will find an motivation and ideas for volunteering. You can always find me on Facebook or Twitter and feel free to ask questions. Facebook page will be filled with pictures and you can also share your own experience. I would be more than happy to receive your ideas and photos. Twitter will not be lonely either, I will make sure to RT tweets that relate to volunteering and get advices from people who volunteered longer than me. Youtube will be used to find new videos about how to motivate people to volunteer and to share my experience. Instagram will be the place to share new images and follow people who have the same interests. Linkedln will be used to connect to people and volunteering organizations. I am looking forward to future and hopefully, dear bees, you will be there with me!

Thank you :)

Show that you care at the care center !

Dear bees,

Long time no see. Hopefully you've been working hard on finding volunteering opportunities and I can bet that you found new friends on your way. At least that's what I did :)

New opportunity to volunteer came up and I accepted it with a big heart. I started volunteering at the care center and so far it is going very well. When I first got there I had to finish the paperwork and it took me few days to get an approval. By then I just couldn't wait to start!

Before I talk about my role, let me explain the role of care center in communities.
Care Center leads the way in providing resident-centered care for people who require short-term rehabilitation or long-term skilled nursing care. Rehabilitation team members are full-time employees of this facility, providing both inpatient and outpatient therapy. It's a place where all the people are accepted and given fully attention and they represent a highest priority to care center workers.

My main role is helping with dining room. It's a great opportunity to help other workers and also to meet wonderful residents of the care center and offer them dinner. I highly recommend that if you're looking for a place to volunteer you should look for a care center in your community. They always accept volunteers and treat them as they are part of staff.

Until next time, work hard bees!
